Lost in a Great Book

With the cold weather moving back in to Utah, there is nothing like curling up and getting lost in a great book. My favorite book is East of Eden by John Steinbeck. I love the rich characters he builds on the page and the complex relationships.

Books have the power to not only educate, but allow us to explore different worlds and time periods. Maybe that is one of the reasons I enjoy reading so much. Each time I open a book I can escape from the day to day tasks of life and become someone else for a little while.

There are so many wonderfully delicious books out there to read, both fiction and non-fiction alike. Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg, The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt and The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas are a few on my bookshelf.

What book are you reading right now? Which book do you want to read? Share your recommendations with me.
